Equicalm
The main purpose of this formula is to assist with calming over anxious or nervous horses. It is widely used to settle young horses, for training and to help calm competition horses. It can be helpful for assisting with calming fractious horses in the stalls, in transportation and when they may have dental inspections or shoeing. EquiCalm doesn’t effect the horse’s judgement or cause drowsiness and is safe to use when hunting and jumping.
As EquiCalm is not a sedative, it will not have a strong sedating effect on a horse and you can administer EquiCalm to a horse even when it is already excited. Equicalm is quick acting and should start to take effect within 30 minutes, achieving maximum effect within an hour, depending on the horse.
NB: VALERIAN MAY CAUSE A POSITIVE SWAB AS A PROHIBITED SUBSTANCE. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN IF PARTICIPATING IN ANY EVENT THAT MAY BE TESTING THE HORSES FOR PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES.
If using during training, withhold 24 days before competition.
